The hull is located in the south of the mountain, in contact with the Podunajskou pahorkatinou , about 6 km west of Veľký Krtíš.
The extensive ridge has an elongated shape and, in the northwest, it follows uphill-like hills. On a ridge with a large platform there are homestead, using the luscious parts of the hill. There is a transmitter in the middle, the highest part of Špania’s homestead, which facilitates identification. From the southern parts of the ridge there are views of the wide surroundings of Veľký Krtíš and Poiplie.
